Stash Buster Tea Towel Rigid Heddle Pattern
This is the perfect project to finish up all those ends of cones, or even bobbins, that you have cluttering up your crafting space (thus making room for new cones!) This is a simple pattern, in fact, you really don’t need the pattern. This is designed for beginners or weavers who want to skip the planning process and just weave. I’ve done all the math so that you can just enjoy weaving a beautiful project.
The pattern contains detailed instructions and videos for the plain weave towels only, however it includes a brief description of how to do medallions and gives some suggestions to change things up.
This pattern uses a 24” rigid heddle and a 10 dent reed. It is super simple to enlarge or reduce the size by simply eliminating a stripe or series of stripes.
It uses 2/8 cotton and includes colours from Maurice Brassard and Cotton Clouds (there is a link to purchase the kit containing all the cotton you need from Cotton Clouds)
Pattern makes 2 towels measuring about 28” x 18.5”
