Silver Linings Shawl 12 dent version
Silver Linings Shawl by The Rogue Weaver
This shawl first appeared in Little Looms Holiday 2020. It was designed just as the world shut down in 2020, and since it was grey, Silver Linings seemed a good name. The world has changed and moved on, but what hasn’t changed is the comfort a handwoven shawl can bring! So, weave up this shawl, and wrap up in it, or gift it to a loved one who needs a hug!
This was originally designed for a 15 dent reed, but since Schacht did not have a 15 dent, I decided to do a 12 dent version as well. As you probably know, Schacht has recently come out with a 15 dent reed, but I thought weavers might like this anyway!
While this is not a beginner project, if you are ready to try pick-up sticks, you should enjoy this pattern.
This project requires a 12 or 12.5 dent reed, a minimum 20” rigid heddle loom, and a pick-up stick as well as all the usual weaving paraphernalia.
Makes 1 scarf about 14.5” x 69” + fringe.
