 Can I really weave a 48” blanket on my 24” loom? Yes you can! This pattern will walk you through every step so you can learn how to weave up a beautiful checkered blanket on your 24” rigid heddle loom. Of course you can do this on any rigid heddle that has a 2 heddle capacity. To reduce for a smaller loom simply remove a block or 2. To increase for a wider loom, add a few blocks.

Once you have mastered the 2 colour checkered blanket, you will be able to start designing your own colour patterns like the random coloured blanket shown in the pictures! You can even wear your blanket!

This pattern is 13 pages filled with pictures, detailed instructions and video links!

Pattern requires a 24” loom with 2 heddle capacity, 2 7.5 or 8 dent reeds, 2 pick-up sticks minimum 24”, 2 shuttles and all the usual weaving paraphernalia.
