My First Scarf Rigid Heddle Weaving Pattern
Have you just received a loom and are wondering where to begin? This pattern is designed especially for the new weaver. Learn to weave a lovely checkered scarf with this pattern that contains over 45 minutes of video (12 individual videos!) as well as tips, tonnes of pictures and step by step instructions.
Pattern requires a minimum 12” rigid heddle loom with a 7.5 or 8 dent reed, 2 shuttles and 2 skeins of dk/worsted weight yarn (200m/100g). You will also need all the usual weaving paraphernalia…scissors, darning needle, tape measure, warping sticks, t-pins.
Designed with the beginner in mind.
Pattern makes 1 scarf about 60” x 8 ¼”
This is more expensive than my usual patterns, this reflects the length of the pattern, 12 pages, and the number of videos exclusive to this pattern.
After purchasing I recommend downloading the pattern immediately and saving it in a secure file either on your device or your cloud service. If you have trouble downloading, please contact me and I will email directly to you. The video and blog links in the pattern are available forever after downloading the pattern.
