Magic Boxes Scarf Rigid Heddle Weaving Pattern

CA$10.00

This complex and delicate pattern is worth the work! Three pick-up sticks work together to create boxes inside boxes! Don’t like inserting all those pick-up sticks? The magic of this pattern is that you need only insert each stick once! When properly inserted they will move independently allowing the weaving to continue seamlessly without the need to continually insert the sticks. And don’t worry, I’ve included a video to explain exactly how to insert the sticks.

This pattern requires a 20” loom, 15 dent reed and 3 pick-up sticks. If you are using a Schacht loom and are familiar with warping 2 heddles to achieve the proper sett, use 2 8 dent reeds.

Pattern uses Silkpaca by Malabrigo (384m/50g) Any lace weight should work.

Pattern includes videos and pictures to help you succeed.

**This is not a beginner pattern. While I have done everything possible to help you achieve success, the weaver should be familiar with using pick-up sticks and have done several projects and be comfortable using a lace weight.

Makes 1 scarf 16” x 73” (plus fringe)
