Land Sky and Sea Rigid Heddle Towel Pattern

CA$8.99

Shades of blue and green combine to evoke visions of summer days, blue skies and ocean views. Plain weave using 100% cotton boucle, these towels are simple to make. Boucle can add an extra challenge to the warping/winding process but the pattern includes tips to help. Or, if you want, use 2/8 cotton or cotolin for the warp and boucle for the weft. Weave them exactly as written or change up the warp and weft patterning to suit you (patterns are just guidelines after all!)

This pattern requires: a 24” rigid heddle, 10 dent reed, 4 shuttles (or 2 boat shuttles with 4 bobbins) and all the usual weaving paraphernalia.

Skill Level: This is an easy pattern, however, boucle can be challenging to work with so it is advisable to have woven several projects before trying this one. Pattern does include tips to deal with boucle.

Pattern makes 2 towels approximately 26” x 18.5”
