Hugs and Kisses Towel Rigid Heddle Weaving Pattern
Learn to weave over-shot on your rigid heddle loom! These towels are mostly plain weave but have a lovely little border accent of Xs and Hearts that are woven using a modified over-shot technique.
Cotton slub mixed with 8/2 cotton makes for a subtly textured towel and the border detail add a nice touch. Of course, once you have learned how to weave the Xs and Hearts, you’ll be ready to design your own borders!
This pattern requires a 24” rigid heddle, a 10 dent reed, 4 shuttles and a pick-up stick as well as all the usual weaving paraphernalia. I’ve included some new videos to walk you through the border pattern and the pattern includes check lists and charts for the warping and the weaving!
