Colour Block Towels

CA$9.99

This is a plain simple towel with a little bit of a warping twist! A combination of 8/2 single and 8/2 doubled gives a bit of added interest in the finished towels. This pattern makes 2 towels: one that focuses on bright clear colours, and a second that uses Caterpillar Cotton yarn from Cotton Clouds in the weft. It is so much fun to see how the Caterpillar yarn plays with the warp making every block look a little different!

The colours in the sample are perfect for the fall season, but don’t limit yourself, I see this towel in shades of pink with a splash of Berries Caterpillar Cotton, or clear blues and greens with Ocean.

This pattern requires a 24” loom and a 12 or 12.5 dent reed. It uses 2/8 cotton and Caterpillar Cotton to make 2 towels about 19” x 26”.
